Ceremony marks Kiep Bac-Con Son Autumn Festival
A ceremony to pray for peace and float flower garlands and coloured lanterns was held on September 14 at Luc Dau River in the northern province of Hai Duong.
This is among major activities to mark the Kiep Bac-Con Son Autumn Festival which closed this evening. The event marks the death anniversary of national hero General Tran Hung Dao who defeated three Mongol invasions in the 13th century.
The festival also included a boat race, firework performance and sports and entertainment activities such as wrestling, cock-fighting and chess competitions, dance performances, cheo (traditional opera) and quan ho (love duets).
